How To Create and Run a Mastermind Group

If you still don’t have your own mastermind group, you are losing out on life. You can increase your mind power exponentially at no real cost just by joining forces with your friends, colleagues, peers etc. It’s very simple. You just need to find a few people that you like and trust and organize regular meetings with them. As the year is 2010 you no longer need to meet in person – you choose a phone or Skype conference. There are a few simple rules to follow to create a successful mastermind group, like keeping the energy flow going, appreciation, respect and support. Business wisdom from Raymond Aaron, Robert Allen, Joel Bauer – the Time Event in London 2010

Ultimate guide to happiness living here and now

How can you be happy?

 

This is a big one. Everybody says "I just want to be happy". However, when you ask them what happiness means to them, they either don't know or say "If I had a house, family, and a job I would be happy". The problem is that people associate happiness with joy, laughter, good health etc, while this is an illusion. We all need a balance in life and we function best when we are centred, focused and present. When you are elated, you cannot take good decisions, and the same applies to when you are down. We get used to things, so if we are joyous for too long, we get bored with it and automatically look for the opposite, but usually life brings us down back to earth. When we are down, we look for the opposite and other people come to cheer us up. If you get rich and healthy (or so called happy), somebody around will not be, and that will bring you down again. So what can you do? The wise men say: "Live in the here and now", but they don't say what that means. In those 3 videos I explain the concept to you in simple terms discussing also various implications and applications of it. To understand the concept you need to answer a few questions first, which I also discuss in the videos:

  • What is reality?
  • Who really are you? Who do you mean when you say "I, me, myself, my"?
  • Where is the past?
  • Where does future exist?
  • Where is life taking place right now? Where is it happening?
  • What is mind? Are you a mind or more?

Face your fear and see it for what it really is, and you’ll be surprised

As human beings we are “doomed” to feel fear every now and then. There will be various bases for it, including financial security, and there’s no way out. Even if you are very wealthy you still have fears, doubts, ups and downs, worries and all sort of “negative” feelings. You cannot get rid of them, but you can balance them using various techniques.

One of the most effective techniques to deal with “bad” feelings is observing your feelings to see them for what they really are, which is nothing more than a body reaction, to which your mind built a story, for example “This is scary” or “Now I’m in trouble”. It’s this story that makes you interpret certain reactions in your body as certain feelings. Fear and pain very often are manifested in the body in exactly the same way as excitement and pleasure. Simply observe your body when you have those feelings, focus on those feelings in the body and turn their volume to the maximum until you see them for what they really are. It might take 10-20 minutes before that happens. Just be patient – stay with it, and the reward will surprise you beyond your belief.
