I have been thinking a lot about freedom, and I must admit that I got lost a bit. There are so many aspects to freedom as there are human minds in the world, I guess. You can talk about freedom speech, religion, gathering, expressing yourself, traveling, etc. You can also go to philosophical matters like discussions about whether you can really be free as a human being or is it just an illusion.
In this video I would like to talk about the illusion of freedom that we sometimes have, which was imposed on us by the society and system, and it’s so deeply ingrained that we do not realize it, and even if someone shows it to us, we still oppose it blindly. I used taxes in my example. I do not encourage you to stop paying taxes – I only would like you to enquire within you mind, and then enquire your tax office about the issue. Can they provide answers?
In these two videos I discuss an alternative approach to the issue of negative/bad feelings. This is a complex topic and you need to apply your own common sense while using the techniques I suggest. They work 100% of times, you just need to combine them sometimes with other techniques.
It’s also important to keep a balance between observing the negative patiently, and in running away from it by looking for pleasures or distractions. Practice both and see what works for you. Please, read what other thought about it and leave your comments as well.
Before you start creating a resume think of it’s purpose: What do I want to achieve with it. Well, let me help you – there is only one purpose: to get to an interview!!!
Now, imagine that you are the person looking through a stack of CV’s (a recruitment agent, a business owner, an HR person) – what are they looking for? How many CV’s do they have on the desk? How much time do they have? How important is it for them to find a suitable candidate?
Keep your CV short, professional, concise, to the point. Highlight the benefits you can bring to the business. Remember, the person looking at your CV is not interested in your education or experience as such, but in what benefits you can bring and if you can do the job – keep that in mind.
Now watch the video and leave me your comments or questions, and will propmtly answer them:
